Afghan Mine Clearer 1: Sherzad, 2015, Christian Lamontagne, Rimouski, Quebec

Sherzad is the team leader of a group of 20 mine clearance personnel in Afghanistan. He poses next to the result of two weeks’ worth of work done by his team. The mines are remnants of the Soviet invasion and war in Afghanistan from 1979 to 1989.
